Pulogebang Terminal Will Be Inaugurated on December 28

The inauguration of the Pulogebang Terminal, East Jakarta as a pilot terminal in Indonesia had to be postponed. Initially, it was slated on December 20, but postponed on December 28.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah disclosed the schedule change is according to the information that received from the palace party. It is slated to be inaugurated by Indonesian President, Joko Widodo.

"Pulogebang Terminal inaugurated is postponed on December 28. It is the instruction of the palace party," he stated, during an executive meeting at City Hall, Monday (12/19).

Pulogebang Terminal Facility Improvement Uses KLB Compensation

He added additional facility in terminal has started to finish and is hoped could be finished all in the upcoming inauguration. 

"Installation of sign and road markings is still undergoing plus technology information (IT)," he expressed.

He went on the say that all SKPDs are also involved in term of additional terminal facility. As planned, there will be 10 peddlers inside terminal.

"Lighting is also being managed by Energy Sub-dept, plus tree planting. Peddler placement is handed over to PD Pasar Jaya," he told.

As known, there are two terminals as pilot in Indonesia, namely Pulogebang and Tirtonadi, Solo. Both will be the standard of development in other areas.
